Biotechnological Applications of Manganese Peroxidases for Sustainable Management

چکیده
Microbial manganese peroxidases (MnPs) are ligninolytic enzymes primarily responsible for degrading lignin, but they also capable of dyes, organic pollutants, and emerging contaminants in wastewater. They have been isolated characterized from many white-rot fungi few bacteria. For microbial MnPs, the optimum pH range is between 3.5 9.0; temperature 25°C 70°C. Their molecular weights 25 kDa 68 kDa. By oxidizing Mn 2+ to 3+ , can oxidize a wide phenolic non-phenolic substrates. MnPs be used industrial applications, including delignification pulp, wastewater treatment, biofuel production, dye removal, biopulping, biobleaching, juice extract clarification. The purpose this review summarize biotechnological applications peroxidases.

Purification and characterization of novel cationic peroxidases from Asparagus acutifolius L. with biotechnological applications.
Four novel basic peroxidases, named AaP-1, AaP-2, AaP-3, and AaP-4, were purified from Asparagus acutifolius L. seeds by cation-exchange and gel filtration chromatographies. The four proteins showed a similar electrophoretic mobility of 46 kDa while, by MALDI-TOF MS, different Mr values of 42758.3, 41586.9, 42796.3, and 41595.5 were determined for AaP-1, AaP-2, AaP-3, and AaP-4, respectively. متن کاملRedundancy among manganese peroxidases in Pleurotus ostreatus.
Manganese peroxidases (MnPs) are key players in the ligninolytic system of white rot fungi. In Pleurotus ostreatus (the oyster mushroom) these enzymes are encoded by a gene family comprising nine members, mnp1 to -9 (mnp genes). Mn(2+) amendment to P. ostreatus cultures results in enhanced degradation of recalcitrant compounds (such as the azo dye orange II) and lignin. In Mn(2+)-amended glucos...
متن کاملExpression of phanerochaete chrysosporium genes encoding lignin peroxidases, manganese peroxidases, and glyoxal oxidase in wood
Expression of Phanerochaete chrysosporium genes encoding ligninolytic enzymes was assessed in wood. Poly(A) RNA was extracted from colonized wood chips by magnetic capture, and specific transcripts were quantified by competitive reverse transcriptase PCR. mRNA levels varied substantially among lignin peroxidase genes, and transcript patterns were dramatically different from those in previous st...
متن کاملBacterial lipases for biotechnological applications
Lipase genes originating from the Gram-negative bacteria Serrutiu marcescens and Pseudomonus urruginosa were cloned. S. marcescens lipase was overexpressed in Escherichia coli yielding inclusion bodies which were purified and finally refolded to give enzymatically active lipase. The lipase operon of P. aeruginosa consisting of genes 1ipA and lip14 was cloned behind the T7 410 promoter and overe...
متن کاملBiotechnological Applications of Transglutaminases
In nature, transglutaminases catalyze the formation of amide bonds between proteins to form insoluble protein aggregates. This specific function has long been exploited in the food and textile industries as a protein cross-linking agent to alter the texture of meat, wool, and leather. In recent years, biotechnological applications of transglutaminases have come to light in areas ranging from ma...
